The right time to get a designer in to build a website is when you have an offer that is selling and you are clear on who you are serving. A website can put fuel on the fire.
Half of the work of your website is to turn away the wrong people so the website acts as a gatekeeper to make sure anyone who takes the next step with you is a good fit to work with you i.e, your dream clients.
Website can protect you and your energy by taking people coming through the process of getting to know your business, how it works, who it’s for, so they can self-eliminate and only have those perfect fit clients actually reaching out.
Understanding your dream client when it comes to building a website and how this is central to everything you create here for the client experience.
Websites are the middle point of a customer journey – you first need to get seen, whether that’s through your efforts in social media or the marketing SEO, that they have to get to the website somehow.
Customer journey really continues past the initial phase. It’s how do you follow up? How you lead people in sales calls and into the actual sale, the welcome process and even the actual process of working with someone and referrals and testimonials. All this then comes back into your marketing and the circle completes itself.
Marketing ecosystem for your business and website can be via SEO and through platforms where people who are actively looking for you on Google, YouTube, Pinterest, any search engine, can connect with your website. Understanding what questions your ideal clients are searching for is key so you can create content around this.
Leaning into what comes easy, is always going to be the easiest way like path of least resistance any day of the week. That’s the way to go with content creation. Then sprinkle some SEO magic on top to optimise your content.
Schedule your content out so you can batch record or batch type up or batch create whatever it is that you want to do for your content, schedule it to go out for the whole month if that feels good.
